PRESS RELEASE ROYAL COUPLE CELEBRATE SILVER WEDDING ANNIVERSARY AT THE ROYAL PALACE Belgrade, 17 September 2010 – Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander II and Crown Princess Katherine are celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary tonight and tomorrow 18 September at the Royal Compound. They are joined Their Royal Highnesses Hereditary Prince Peter, Prince Philip and Prince Alexander. Their Royal Highnesses Prince Nicholas and Princess Katarina (son and daughter of HRH Prince Tomislav) and her daughter Victoria de Silva. Their Royal Highnesses Prince Vladimir (son of Prince Andrej) and Princess Lavinia (daughter of Prince Andrej) and her husband Mr, Austin Pritchard. HRH Crown Princess Katherine’s son Mr. and Mrs David Andrews their son Alexander and daughter Mrs. Alison Andrews. Guests were also Their Majesties King Constantine and Queen Anne-Marie of the Hellenes, King Simeon and Queen Margarita of Bulgaria, King Michael of Romania, Their Royal Highnesses Crown Princess Margarita and Prince Radu of Romania, Their Royal Highnesses Prince Guillaume and Princess Sibilla of Luxembourg, Princess Irene of Greece, Princess Desiree, Baroness Silfverschiöld of Sweden and Baron Niclas Silfverschiöld, Princess Margarita of Baden,Their Serene Highnesses Prince Philipp Erasmus and Princess Isabelle of Liechtenstein, Princess Ira von Fürstenberg, Mr and Mrs. George Roumeliotis, sister of HRH Crown Princess Katherine with her family. The guests were delighted to have had opportunity to tour two Royal Palaces and Belgrade in general, which most of them are visiting for the first time. TRH Crown Prince Alexander II and Crown Princess Katherine married in 1985 at St. Sava church in London. His Majesty King Constantine of the Hellenes was the best man and His Royal Highness Prince Tomislav, the uncle of Crown Prince Alexander, was the witness at the wedding ceremony. This extraordinary celebration of silver wedding anniversary of Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander II and Crown Princess Katherine would not be possible, without the generous help and support of their many friends from Serbia and abroad. Their Royal Highnesses would like to sincerely thank them all. There is no doubt that this lovely emotional event is also a wonderful promotion for the people of Serbia. Their Royal Highnesses are delighted that so many friends from all over the world were able to come to Serbia. |

Cand are de gand casa regala sa faca ceva anume si concret pentru ca Romania sa revina la Monarhia Constitutionala am tot auzit si tot aud ca familia regala a romaniei ne reprezinta pestye tot e bine felicitari sunt mandru dar vreau sa revenim la monarhie o sa imi spuneti poate ca atunci cand vrea poporul deacord dar poporul asteapta sa faceti ceva in acest sens eu am un proiect de constitutie in acest sens vreau sa pun umarul la redefinirea Romaniei ca fiind un stat respectabil in europa vreau sa am o intalnire cu familia regala a romaniei in acest sens

Vă mulțumesc pentru mesaj. Sunt bucuros că vă preocupă Constituția României. Aveți dreptate. Pentru ca țara noastră să redevină monarhie, este nevoie de o schimbare a Constituției în acest sens.
Știți foarte bine că schimbarea Constituției are nevoie de efortul tuturor, nu numai cel al Casei Regale: instituții, politicieni, oameni de afaceri, intelectuali, precum și întreaga societate românească. Dar, pentru a face acest efort, este nevoie ca toți acești oameni să creadă în monarhie. Suntem departe de așa ceva.
Faptul că pe dumneavoastră vă preocupă acest subiect este un foarte bun exemplu. Dacă fiecare ar gândi așa, altfel ar sta lucrurile în țara noastră.
Vă rog să-mi trimiteți pe adresa de la Palatul Elisabeta documentul pe care l-ați scris dumneavoastră.
Peste câteva zile voi publica pe blog un text al unui tânăr inginer, dl Laurențiu Pavelescu, legat exact de modificarea constituțională în favoarea monarhiei sau a Casei Regale.
